Dr Brett Borger
Associate Dentist
Dr Brett Borger has been welcomed to the team at West Pymble Dental Surgery as a friendly associate dentist. Dr Brett studied a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne and graduated in 2016 with special credits on the Dean’s Honours List.
After his studies Dr Brett worked in public dental clinics in Dubbo and Bathurst providing dental care to disadvantaged groups in the community. In 2020 he was seconded to run the public clinic in Parkes by himself, and spent some time tutoring final year dental students, where he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion for dentistry. In June 2021 he made the move to Sydney with his extensive experience and wealth of knowledge and commenced work in private practice.
Since moving to NSW Dr Brett has become a keen member of the NSW ADA and Recent Graduates Committee. He has also previously been a part of the Western Division Committee.
Dr Brett enjoys all aspects of general dental practice however, has additional experience in surgical wisdom tooth removal, including working with anaesthetists to provide treatment under sedation. He enjoys working collaboratively with patients to provide the best possible treatment.
Dr Brett loves working with people every day to problem solve their dental needs. He says, ‘No two days are ever the same and I enjoy this variety in dentistry.’ He also takes great pride in providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere and working with nervous patients to help them overcome their dental fears.
Outside of the dental surgery. Dr Brett lives a very active lifestyle with his partner. They enjoy sending time exploring local beaches around New South Wales, traveling and cooking. He’s also a keen AFL fan and supports Essendon!
